A to Z April
Spring is finally here, and what a winter we had! Cold and snow (and even more snow) and temperatures that almost made our hearts freeze, but also new beginnings, exciting meetings, interesting conversations and some tasty recipes. Winter has not completely retrieved yet, there’s a definite chill in the air despite a warmer weather, and another cold streak and possibly more snow (really winter??) this coming week. But then we are promised an actual Spring and 60F degrees outside. I just can’t wait! The week of March 31st can’t come soon enough!
So having my eyes set on April, I think I’m also up for a challenge. A to Z Blogging Challenge that is. During the month of April I’ll be blogging every day except Sunday (hey, even God had a rest day), which in itself will be a new and challenging experience as I do not post every day, due to the obvious time constrains and other life responsibilities. But I’m totally committed to this new opportunity. A to Z Challenge became widely popular during the last couple of years, as more and more people striving for wider human connection turned to modern technology and joined the blogging world. The challenge sets the rules that you need to do 26 posts, however short or long, every day (except Sundays) during the month of April, and each post should correspond to a letter of the alphabet. But how you “spin the tale” of that letter is entirely up to you. Almost 1500 bloggers have already signed up for the challenge and more are being added as I write this. To read more about the challenge, click here www.a-to-zchallenge.com
And here is the calendar of all future posts (with the corresponding letters) in the Challenge.
Today is the big Theme Reveal Day in the A to Z Challenge World. Bloggers had a chance to either use a theme for their entire challenge or just do random posts as long as they satisfy the word a day rules. I thought that having a general theme would make it much more cohesive and for sure interesting. Therefore my A to Z Blogging Challenge theme is
Life in Quotes
I absolutely love quotes! They are short and to-the-point expressions of the message you are trying to convey. They could be inspiration, uplifting, funny or even melancholic, but they do grab your attention and make you stop and ponder life for a second. If I could, I would assign a quote to every food I make. And I often do, especially for desserts. In a perfect Peddler World you can get a nice treat and a great quote attach to it, and if you did, and it made you stop and smile for a second, that means I touched your life even if for that moment.
Along with quotes, I’ll be re-visiting many of my posted recipes and find the ones corresponding to the letter of the day. So hopefully you’ll join me in the kitchen too.
So April will be definitely busy but also exciting. You, my loyal followers, will get my daily quote post either in your WordPress feed or via email. And those who just stop by will hopefully be lead to the day (and quote) that they exactly needed to hear. I hope you’ll enjoy it, I hope you’ll learn something, I hope you’ll also challenge yourself to do whatever it is that lifts your spirit and propels you to follow your own path in life.
Join me on this A to Z road to self discovery and inspiration! See you April 1st!
